Hótel Flatey
A Truly Unique Place
Hotel Flatey is situated in the centre of the old village on Flatey Island, in the heart of Breiðafjörður. The historic village is known for its beautifully restored timber houses, many dating back to the island’s prosperous trading era.
The hotel’s guest rooms and dining facilities are located in converted warehouses surrounding the old market square, offering a unique and peaceful atmosphere with views over the village, coastline, and the arctic tern nesting grounds in Skansmýri.
